For My Daddy

by by Sarah
((Jacksonville ,FL))

My father had a stroke and lost the use of his right side. It was hard for him to feed himself and I always would end up taking his spoon and doing it for him. One day my friend came to visit and we got to talking about her daughter getting a bowl for her baby that had sticky strips that stuck to the highchair. We thought maybe we could use that same bowl for my dad so he could still be independent. I got one and tried it and after that meal my dad said we need more. So we end up with five. This simple bowl has changed the rest of my dad's life.
